Forbes & Walker Tea Brokers (Pvt) Ltd is the first Tea Broker and Warehousing Complex to obtaining Carbon Neutral Certification by achieving net-zero carbon emissions. This initiative reflects our strong commitment to sustainability, corporate responsibility and ethical business practices. We have taken significant steps to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions through improved operational efficiencies and addressed our existing emissions by investing in renewable energy projects. A key milestone in this journey has been the establishment of a 550 KW rooftop solar PV system. In addition, we are focused on enhancing resource efficiency and managing long-term risks by reducing our on carbon-intensive inputs. This strategic shift also prepares us for anticipated future regulations, carbon taxes, and mandatory environmental reporting requirements.
